Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
4 tbsp olive oil
16 oz sliced mushrooms
24 oz bowtie pasta
1/2 cup butter
4 cups spinach chopped
4 garlic cloves minced
2 tbsp flour
1 cup chicken broth
2 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
Directions
Grill and shred chicken.
Boil pasta.
In a large pan cook mushrooms in oil until tender. Remove and set aside.
To make the sauce add the butter and melt. Add garlic and cook until tender. Whisk in the flour until it thickens. Whisk in chicken broth, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Add the spinach and let simmer until it starts to thicken and the spinach wilts.
Add the chicken, mushrooms, and pasta.
